About Us
Eddie Fam, Founder and Principal of IMPACT Marketing & Events,graduated from George Mason University with a BA in Marketing and Event Management. Since 1997, Fam has planned premium special event functions in the DC Metropolitan area. In 2000, Fam signed a local DC rock band named SEV to a major record deal with Geffen Records. This helped land them a commercial for Pepsi Blue which aired during the MTV Video Awards. In 2001, Eddie helped coordinate a fundraising campaign for Coptic Orphans that generated over $1 million dollars to help break the cycle of poverty. In 2005, Eddie Fam was selected for Bono’s ONE Campaign to serve as a U.S. delegate to help promote the “Commission for Africa” which increased global funding to the world’s poorest people by $50 billion. In 2006, Fam launched a socially conscious rock couture brand called iKY Clothing in to a global marketplace. Mr. Fam is part owner in this endeavor as he manages all aspects of marketing and sales for this aspiring new DC based label. iKY Clothing is endorsed by many of Hollywood’s A List Celebrities such as Tyrese, Duran Duran, Ferry Corsten, Quincy Jones, Boyz II Men, and more.
Currently, Fam runs IMPACT Marketing & Events which is a full service company that specializes in corporate event marketing, weddings, special event planning, marketing campaigns, and charity fundraising events. We have event planners all over the United States. IMPACT is a member of ISES DC and is also the official event planner for 49 chapters of BNI NOVA. We are also part of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, Reston Meet Up Group and Advantage Marketing Team.
Recently, IMPACT has been hired by Walmart, Sam's Club, and The Village at Leesburg.
